As a first step in Image processing, I decided to dirty my hands on Image Acquisition.
* start matlab, simulink
* 'From Video Device' in 'Image Acquisition Toolbox". double click on the block and select the appropriate device
* 'Video Viewer' from 'sinks' in 'Video and Image Processing Blockset'
* change running time to 'inf' for infinity.
* run
